The photographs of the flowers really are beautiful! And I especially appreciated the excerpt of Ouellette’s quote on writing as metaphor—that really does resonate, right? I would guess most, maybe all writers would agree. And thank you again for restacking my post for today—that’s especially meaningful coming from a writer, and person, I admire.

Stephen King’s On Writing is a favorite of mine. I have revisited it several times and get so much more out of it every time.
