I just found it in a box and loving it. My receipt from a used bookstore from 2012 was still in it. Very disruptive time and I only got part way through it back then. I’m leaving a trail of little sticky notes all through it 😁

The photographs of the flowers really are beautiful! And I especially appreciated the excerpt of Ouellette’s quote on writing as metaphorβ€”that really does resonate, right? I would guess most, maybe all writers would agree. And thank you again for restacking my post for todayβ€”that’s especially meaningful coming from a writer, and person, I admire.

Love this! The flower photos made me smile! Thanks for the links to your recent reading. I feel you on the overflowing inbox -- and there's always more to discover. I loved Prose's book. Her novel, "Mr. Monkey," is wonderful. And CPE's book is a classic I return to again and again.
