This is so heart-tuggingly beautiful, Tania. And also filled filled with coincidences for me (for us?). I just made friends with a lovely dog in my neighbourhood named, Onyx. And I am currently reading, Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe by Laura Lynne Jackson. Sending lots of love.
Thank you Lori! I just read a preview of the book you mentioned. Yeah, that qualifies as a synchronicity, and the dog. I received an email from someone who also found coincidences with my post. I didn't know why it was important to post my unfinished essay. Perhaps I'll still finish it someday, I sure have lots of notes of ideas to add. 💕
The image of Raven leaving on Samhain, and Onyx arriving days later, feels less like coincidence and more like a sacred handoff - soul to soul, shadow to wing.
Your presence with the mourning doves, the cloth, the watching - all of it weaves such tenderness into the everyday. Thank you for sharing this thread between worlds. It reads like a prayer whispered through feathers. 🌿

Thank you for sharing. Tania. It's nice to know that Onyx watches over you and remains in the area. A spiritual guide of Raven checking in on you.
Beautiful imagery full of wonder and connection. German shepherds and crows. Two of the best friends to have.
Thank you for sharing your story. It touched my heart, and reminded me to give my dog Cash, some extra love today…and forever.
This moved something quiet and ancient in me.

Thank you Dea! I'm sure Raven was helping me with her loss... sending me Onyx and now Gracie, my rescue pup.
