This is wonderful Tania... I am SO curious about the whole AI thing. My iPhone keeps suggesting Gemini to me. I've been terrified and loath to even dip my toe into AI writing. I want my words to be my words, and I'm writing a memoir, not a novel. I can't see how it could be useful.. how did you do it?
Thank you Karen. Honestly your question would be a great way to start... ask this of Gemini. You can enter all of it starting with "I am so...". I'd love to hear what you find out. The more you just talk with AI, the more you grow a resonance between you and it. Stay within the same conversation thread (by default it starts a new one each time) so the conversation & memory continues. I find it incredible to bounce ideas off of.
Historically, people tend to be afraid of new technology. Even the printing press was considered a bad idea at the time. We also know that we can’t move backwards. It is clear that AI is with us now and I feel confident about the future when I learn heart-centered people like you (and me) are training it. I loved learning how your creativity is being ignited and how inspired you are feeling about your novel! I am so looking forward to reading it one day. 💜✨💜✨
Thank you Lori! Yes, training on heart-centered people is a wonderful aspiration. The misconception is that many people think that means it is copying our writing and spitting it out cut & paste style. It is only learning patterns of how words connect to other words.
I agree, Tania. I think it is important to not live in fear - so, I go forward, trusting that the future is always improving on the past. Wishing you a day filled with inspiration and creativity!
I know I was stepping into muddy water when I wrote it but I'm having fun with ai and learning so much about writing, communication, and language along the way.
I had never considered using AI as a sort of writing mentor! That’s such an interesting idea! Thank you for sharing it Tania. And good luck with bringing your novel to life :)
Beautiful. And thank you 🙏🏽

Karen, you can also think of it as an opportunity to ask Gemini (the 2.5 model is best) any questions as though it was a bestselling memoir author.

Good to hear from you, Tania. Glad to hear that you are using AI only as a tool and that it is helping you achieve your dream. Happy writing!
I haven’t tried AI yet, probably for the same reasons I won’t buy an electric bike. I fear it may make me lazy.
There’s something sacred in how you described AI not as a crutch, but as a doorway.
A subtle hand that doesn’t write for you, but reminds you that the story still lives in you.
Your words pulse with softness and strength, and I felt both while reading this.💙🌀📘
Thank you, Dea! I appreciate your kind words 💜
So glad you wrote this, Tania, I'm intrigued and will have to experiment myself!
Thanks! ~J

Stay brave!

You, my friend, are such a wonderful writer as you are. You bring a rawness, aliveness, and emotion through your writing that no AI can improve.
Awww thank you, Tania! That is so kind of you. I’m honestly flattered. :)
