Tania, Wow so well said and the artwork is simply amazing! I think we have all heard one time or another from ourselves and others that we should write a book lol. Probably meaning I suspect that we have a life worth sharing and telling others about. Maybe just expressing simple thoughts of communication on many platforms expresses even more than a book might? Just a thought that less words put in a book and or artwork sometimes can be more telling than writing a novel or other book form. Thinking outside the box or coloring outside the lines is okay and a must for many of us. Really every day is a living story of our personal lives......just maybe right now not in print form and no periods or last page of any book can end our stories. Great news for many of us as some would say that we are in a continual process! We won't be just sitting on a bookshelf waiting for a reader to take note when we are a walking live messenger for expression. I do have a love of books and authors. I am just saying not everyone can take on the task or commitment that it takes to put their words into print. Kudos to all of us who share their minds with mindful words and good deeds!

Thank you Barbara! Yes I do agree with this: "Maybe just expressing simple thoughts of communication on many platforms expresses even more than a book might?" But writing an essay or even a book, even if it does just sit on a shelf, can be so powerful for our own healing and release. That will come in a later essay, maybe on Process? I've been slowly working through some writing workshops and have gained so much from them, on a personal level. I love this-> "Really every day is a living story of our personal lives"

Thats pear is sensational! The colours, man, perfect.

Such a warm and big-hearted post too Tania, encouraging people to delve into their own creativity and human condition. I agree with you, Substack has self-created a supporting and generous community.

Just wanted to say thanks too. My post you mentioned was also trying to suggest that all you need to do to become a writer is write. There's so much myth and legend surrounding being a "writer" (or an artist of any type), when really it's a club open to everyone and anyone who dares to join.

Thank you very much Jonathan! Your comment truly means a lot to me.

Your post was in part inspirational and synchronistic in my writing. I loved how you built your writing skills. Yes, all we have to do is start. My next post in this series will be "permission" - permission to take action.

Tania, Thank You! I am in very much agreement with you on that every avenue of word expression being essential. Good luck on your continual exploring of writing in the workshops. I remember a poem or saying in one of my children's books: A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds.

Thank you, Tania, for bringing your work forward with such rawness and evolution. Your reflection on possibility reminds me of the essence of creativity as something both personal and universal—each sketch or note represents a seedling, a glimpse of potential and authenticity that invites others in. I admire your willingness to share the process, not just the result. It’s a beautiful reminder that creative journeys are not destinations but living explorations that flourish through openness and connection. Looking forward to seeing where this path takes you!

I truly appreciate this Lane, thank you! Your words added more depth to what I was hoping to bring through my writing. I’m trying to get more comfortable with sharing the “rawness and evolution” more. I think that’s why I’ve been stuck with what I’m hoping to create here. Thank you for the much needed nudge and reminder. And, look at those “P” words you used 😁 — potential and process. My next piece is on Permission.
